One bighorn sheep permit will be issued for the season which is Dec. 1-22.

Applications, along with a nonrefundable $25 application fee, must be received by the Nebraska Game and Parks Commission's headquarters in Lincoln by 5 p.m. Central Time on Aug. 7. Online applications must be submitted before midnight.

The permit drawing will take place at the Aug. 28 meeting of the Nebraska Game and Parks Board of Commissioners. Unsuccessful applicants will not be notified

I got one of these beauties on my first hunting trip at a East Texas Private Hunting Reserve.

It's call a Aoudad. It's like an exotic african mountain Goat / Ram.
